Weave a Rainbow Kit

Both little and big hands will enjoy creating a woolly rainbow with our handwork kit.  Designed by Wool Maiden, this 8" x 9" birch wood loom has two different weaving tasks.  First, seven naturally dyed colours are woven up and down through slats to create the arched rainbow.  Then, a fluffy white cloud is made from weaving Merino roving beneath the colourful rainbow.  To finsih the kit, a felted star is hung with blue raindrops beneath the cloud. 

These kits are wonderful as a project for children, a baby shower gift, or to bring a little rainbow sunshine into any corner of your home.

The Weave a Rainbow Kits include everything you need including, 7 bundles of naturally dyed yarn, Merino roving for the cloud, a birch wood loom, a yellow felted star, eleven blue felted raindrops, thread to hang the star and raindrops, and two needles for weaving and threading.  There are complete instructions also included.

Due to the nature of natural dyes, be sure to hang your rainbow weaving out of direct sunlight to prevent excessive fading.
