A collaboration of fluffy soft mohair silk paired with rustic farm yarn creates a Heavenly Soft Bundle of naturally dyed yarn.  Each bundle consists of both fibres that are 169 metres (185 yards) long with a combined weight of 65 grams (2.3 ounces), creating a Dk weight yarn.

The merino single plied yarn comes from a farm in northern BC and it has the charming quality of homegrown fibre.  While one of the softest and warmest fibres available, the mohair silk actually lends strength to the merino singles making this duo not only delicate in its handle, but durable in its strength.

Wool Maiden's Heavenly Soft Bundles are a unique choice for a hat or cowl as they knit up with a gentle halo to add softness to the garment.  Alternately, four or five bundles make a lovely vest or children's sweater.

Notes :

Our yarn is sustainably and naturally dyed using mostly homegrown and locally harvested plants.  Hand dyeing with natural dyes leaves room for subtle differences in dye lots so please ensure you purchase the right amount for your project.  It is a good idea to alternate rows when you move from skein to skein to ensure a smooth transition.

Enjoy using your Heavenly Soft Bundle.  We hope that the garment you create brings great joy and perhaps becomes an heirloom piece in your wardrobe.

Please understand that all attempts have been made to accurately photograph the colour of this yarn.  Due to the range of individual settings on computers, there may be unavoidable colour variance.
