There are few things as soft as this Wool Batt, made from luxury natural fibres and then carefully blended in a drum carder. A lovely 105 grams (3.7 ounces) of airy fibre, ready to be felted or spun into yarn.
Sweet and tart, Key Lime Pie is a delicious summer dessert, and this batt has all that seem sweetness. Cool creamy whites with bright slivers of kelly green mixed amongst the gray shades, this colourway is every bit as delicious as the real thing.
This batt would spin into a lovely single skein of lustrous yarn, or mix with other fibres like the Wool Bundles, and you have enough for a larger garment, perhaps even a fade set. Alternately, this batt would be excellent felted.
Fibres ~ Merino/Silk, Debouillet Merino "Flora", BFL "Rosebud", Baby Alpaca, Shropshire, Cotswold x Clun Forest x North Country Cheviot
Colour ~ Key Lime Pie
Weight ~ 108 grams (3.8 ounces)
Gently hand wash once fibres have been made into yarn or felted, and then wash in lukewarm water and lay flat to dry, out of direct sunlight.
Our wool batts are one of a kind, hand assembled choosing the most luxuriously soft combination of fibres. There are some pops of colour amongst the natural fibres, and this may run a little in the first few washes, so please wash with care.
Enjoy using Wool Maiden's wool batts for your spinning or felting project. We hope that the garment you create brings great joy and perhaps becomes an heirloom piece in your wardrobe.
Please understand that all attempts have been made to accurately photograph the colour of this batt. Due to the range of individual settings on computers, there may be unavoidable colour variance.
